Welcome
Dr. Anderson is a native of Missouri City, Texas. She went to schools in Fort Bend ISD throughout her entire K-12 education. She is a proud graduate of Elkins High School and is thrilled to be back at her alma mater. While in high school Dr. Anderson enjoyed playing the trumpet in the marching band, being active in PALS, as well as many of the other honor societies.
After graduating from high school Dr. Anderson attended Texas A&M University and received a B.S. in Applied Mathematical Sciences with a minor in Business. A few years later she attained her Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering at TAMU. She recently completed her dissertation in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Mathematics Education from TAMU as well. Her dissertation focused on estimating the reliability and validity of a survey intended to measure pre-service mathematics teachers' beliefs about equity and problem solving in the middle grades.
Dr. Anderson teaches Pre-AP Geometry and AVID IV. Her conference is 4th period from 10:20-11:10am. Email is the preferred form of communication ([email protected]).
